Mid America Metals Announces
George Smith Has Earned LEED Accrediation
Mid America Metals is proud to announce that it’s Southwest
Regional Director of Sales, George Smith, has recently earned LEED AP O+M accreditation
from the U.S. Green Building Council. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design) AP O+M (Accredited Professional, Operations and Maintenance) designation is
achieved through rigorous training and ultimately passing an in-depth exam covering green
building design, construction and operations. George’s specialized knowledge of green
building principles and how the maintenance of those buildings can be environmentally
friendly will not only benefit our customers with LEED buildings, but will also be beneficial to those
buildings wanting to achieve LEED certification. Mid America Metals prides itself on being at the
forefront in the quest for LEED compliance with the restoration of metal, stone and wood surfaces.
